1. Participation Expectations
Participation across KMC is guided by a common participation framework founded on shared principles and a shared commitment to inclusive, values-based engagement.
Participation in KMC is:
- voluntary;
- non-commercial;
- values-based;
- undertaken in good faith; and
- respectful of others.
KMC encourages participants to contribute constructively, respect differing perspectives and support a positive participation environment for all.
Participation should remain consistent with the purpose of KMC as a shared national platform for exploring, expressing and contributing towards a Clean Malaysia.
2. Participation Framework
While the participation principles of KMC remain consistent across all Participation Networks, the implementation of participation varies according to the participation environment.
Individuals participate directly through the KMC platform under the Participation Terms.

Communities, organisations and institutions participate through their relevant Participation Network. The appropriate Participation Guide or Participation Agreement is provided by the KMC Custodian.
